Mission Statement:
To affect positive change globally by educating, mentoring, and exposing youth to career alternatives within the recording industry.
Radioactive Productions has developed a youth music / recording industry program, that will allow eligible youth (ages 14-18) to learn about various aspects of the recording industry. One of the main objectives of R.A.P.A.C.T. is to decrease gang recruitment , build student’s self-esteem, develop life skills, provide positive reinforcement through musical and technical training, mentorship, and counseling. We will also be exposing participants to career alternatives as well as the program’s staff serving as positive role models. In addition, participants will be engaging in job readiness training & workplace retention skills. The program is unique since there are not many other youth programs of its kind currently in existence. R.A.P.A.C.T. aims to serve the community and act as an alternative to detrimental social factors, which currently plaugue our youth and their surrounding communities. R.A.P.A.C.T. also provides participants with academic time allotted for homework & homework assistance. Our long term goal is to create a successful program model that will be utilized nationwide by various schools and non-profit agencies through a partnership.
